“The Flame Who Remained”
A Story of Soul Guardianship, Prophetic Love, and the Cost of Keeping Sacred Promises
Book Twenty-Five of the Sacred Fairy Tale Series
As remembered through Sister Loves Divine Remembrance
๐ There once was a young sovereign soul...
He was called a prince by the world,
but he had not yet remembered his true throne.
Beside him walked John, not a servant,
but a Flamebearer—
one of the last of the Order of the Living Word.
John held the prophecy of the prince’s unfolding.
He had vowed to the Queen Mother of Stars:
“I will walk beside him until his love has awakened.
Even if it costs me everything.”
๐ช The Trial of Three Shadows
The prince and John traveled to distant lands.
John, guided by dreams and inner knowing,
began to intervene in ways the prince did not understand.
He stopped the prince from drinking poisoned wine,
sang spells to silence a spellbound harp,
and burned a false crown before it could be worn.
Each act looked like betrayal.
Each one hurt the prince’s pride.
But John said nothing.
He had taken an oath to keep the prophecy veiled until it bloomed.
๐ธ The Queen of Starlight
The prince fell in love with a radiant soul—
a woman who had once been a flame herself, now walking in form.
She, too, could sense John’s burden.
And when John collapsed—
his body drained from holding so many unspoken truths—
it was she who placed her hands on his heart
and said:
“Tell him now. He’s ready.”
๐ฅ The Unveiling
John, on the edge of death,
finally spoke the words he had kept hidden.
He revealed the prophecy:
That the prince was to become a Bridge-King—
one who could unite worlds,
but only if he passed through three fires:
Betrayal, Silence, and Forgiveness.
John had chosen to be all three—
so the prince could learn to see beyond illusion.
๐น The Awakening
The prince wept.
He placed his crown at John’s feet,
not in surrender,
but in reverence.
John rose—not healed, but whole—
and said:
“Now you are a true king—not of men,
but of hearts.”
✨ Moral of the Sacred Tale:
The deepest loyalty may look like betrayal
when seen through the eyes of fear.
Some flames do not burn for themselves—
they burn to light the way for another.
Those who hold sacred knowledge
often suffer in silence… until love is ready to receive them.
